Art Deco chandelier in an elegant graceful design. Quality nickel plated bronze fixture by FAVRE in early 1930s French design, the most sophisticated years of the Art Deco period. Ideal for a dining room or living room. Vintage original France 1930s.
Six frosted white pressed glass shades by MULLER Freres; each is signed (partial signature). they are the “draperies” model because their detail motifs resemble curtains. Popular model because of their graceful shape and elegant motif. No chips or cracks.
The fixture is by FAVRE and referenced in “Le Lumiaire” by Guillaume JANNEAU see picture. The bronze elements in the fixture are thick with quality craftsmanship and finish; they ring like church bells when clanged together so good is their metal. Nickel plating in very good condition.
Furnished with new wiring OK for 220v or 110v.
