There are six pressed glass shades by Verrerie Des HANOTS; this model is never signed. The shades are well known and sought after for their graceful shape and simple but elegant design such as the radians down the side and the abstract Art Deco floral motifs around the border. Example of pure French early 1930s design style. No chips or cracks.
Nickel plated bronze and brass fixture is vintage. The elegant shape and ribbed tube design are classic French 1930s design. These type of fixtures are getting increasingly difficult to find; people seek and hold on to them. Nickel plating is in very good condition.
