Art Deco lamp for collectors of serious quality lights. Excellent blend of elements by two great lighting artists of the period: HETTIER et VINCENT and G. LELEU. Frosted pressed glass shade signed Hettier et Vincent France in graceful vertical linear shapes grooved in the glass. Lovely quality glass and a frosted finish that is almost opaque. Very elegant shape and design; no chips or cracks. The bronze base is a model known to be by Georges LELEU signed L 746. Quality bronze casting with details in the base and column lines. The base with beaded lines in flower petal arrangement is renown as being by LELEU. Superb proportions in the design of the base in particular the shape of the column , its diameter and height. Vintage original France 1930s.
